Levels of Cover
Ambulance Care Assistants (ACAs)
Trained in First Aid at Work with ambulance-specific manual handling, ACAs provide essential patient care and safe transportation. Their skills include basic life support, oxygen therapy, and the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs). They are trained to recognise major illnesses, traumatic injuries, and the need for spinal immobilisation.
Urgent Care Assistants (UCAs)
Qualified to First Response Emergency Care (FREC) Level 3, UCAs have enhanced patient assessment skills and can provide initial treatment for medical emergencies and trauma. They are trained in airway management, bleeding control, and oxygen administration, with the ability to assist in emergency interventions.
Emergency Care Assistants (ECAs)
Building on the skills of UCAs, ECAs have additional patient assessment abilities and can provide initial treatment for traumatic injuries and medical conditions. Many ECAs are also qualified to administer lifesaving medications under guidance.
Ambulance Technicians
Ambulance Technicians have intermediate assessment skills and are trained to manage major illnesses, traumatic injuries, and medical emergencies. They can administer a wider range of medications and provide more advanced pre-hospital care.
Paramedics
Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), Paramedics deliver advanced pre-hospital care. Their skills include enhanced patient assessment, cannulation, drug therapy, Advanced Life Support (ALS), Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS), and some surgical techniques. Paramedics can administer advanced medications independently.
Nurses
Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), our Nurses and Advanced Nurse Practitioners provide specialised medical care, including wound gluing, suturing, and advanced assessment and treatment of medical conditions.
Doctors
Registered with the General Medical Council (GMC), our Doctors offer expert medical care with advanced patient assessment, prescription services, ALS, PHTLS, and minor surgical procedures. They can administer a full range of medications independently and provide specialist medical advice in emergency situations.
Our Equipment
Cardiac Monitoring, Defibrillators, and a Wide Range of Medications
Every event should have access to defibrillators (AEDs). If your event requires a paramedic, we also provide advanced cardiac monitoring and a comprehensive selection of medications, from pain relief for minor headaches to life-saving interventions for cardiac arrest. Additionally, we can supply pharmacy medications for events requiring a paramedic-led service.
Cycle Response Units (CRU)
CRUs are designed to navigate areas where vehicles may struggle to reach, allowing our medics to respond swiftly and safely through crowds. Each CRU is fully equipped with an AED and essential medical supplies.
4×4 Rapid Response Vehicles (RRV)
Our RRVs are fully equipped with medical equipment to provide immediate care. Due to recent legislation changes, RRVs can no longer use emergency lights on public roads unless they can transport patients in a recumbent position—something all of our RRVs are capable of.
4×4 Specialist Ambulances
Built to handle even the most challenging terrains, our fleet includes seven 4×4 emergency ambulances, ranging from Land Rover Defenders to Volkswagen Transporters and Mercedes Sprinters. These vehicles are designed to bring A&E-level care to even the most remote locations.
Emergency Ambulances
Our emergency ambulances serve as fully equipped mobile A&E units, capable of handling everything from minor injuries to major trauma and cardiac arrest. As a CQC-registered ambulance provider, we can transport patients in any situation.
Treatment Centres
Our treatment centres provide a self-contained, fully equipped medical space with heating, lighting, and running water. Designed for privacy and efficiency, they ensure medical care can be delivered comfortably, even in challenging conditions.
